On the contribution of the Palestinians to fighting the virus in Russia, he pointed out that approximately 80,000 cases have been registered so far in Russia, and every day there are approximately 5,000 new cases, and the Russian authorities are making a huge effort, adding: “We, as a community in Russia, are part of society.”

“In Moscow there is a Palestinian doctor that announced that he will give free treatment during the crisis, and there are efforts from the Palestinian embassy, ​​where emergency committees were established in all Russian cities,” he said in an interview with an-Najah News.

Concerning the role of the emergency committee, he stressed that the embassy worked to establish this committee because of the home-quarantine and the difficulty of leaving the houses and reaching the embassy, ​​and it was agreed on the work of the emergency committee and providing assistance to the children of the Palestinian community.
